Why Can’t Smart Cars Look Normal
I saw my first Smart car today in Santa Clarita and while I hate saying this (because I know everyone wants to be all green and all) but I really hate the way they look.

I did find it funny that there’s a gas guzzling Ford Expedition in the background.

Wouldn’t it be more “smart” to actually park the car, and walk into the Starbucks to order the drink? Owning green technology clearly doesn’t make one green.

If the genreal public new just how much hazardeuos waste the batteries alone for the cars have I think they would have a second opinion. I hear that the batteries in these cars would emit enough toxins to compare it to antoher 3-mile island. Look, if preliminary test show that a cell phone battery may be known to cause certain types of cancers……..

We have a lot of them here in Chicago and they’re starting to look pretty normal to me.
There are a lot better green car options (like the Prius), but the Smart Car is great for people on a low budget and don’t need a lot of space. On the plus side, it would make parallel parking a breeze. It would be tough to not have a trunk, though. If two people went to the grocery store the passenger would have to hold the bags on their lap.
