Santa Clarita Open Space on YouTube
Has anyone else seen these signs all over town?

Well, I did just that. I went to YouTube and searched for ‘open space tax’ and had an opportunity to watch lots of clips made by local residents who are passionately against the open space tax.
Whether you are for the open space tax or against it, the videos are interesting and informative. Ya think the tax supporters will make any videos?
Anyway, being the internet geek I am, I think the YouTube videos are genius. Who is this ‘vintageyellow71′??

I did hear Bob Kellar’s radio advertisement for this and he put it into perspective. Yes they propose it will be an additional $25 dollars for us. You will gain so much more than that in property value by having the allocated open space. Many people instantly think “NO” when it comes time for additional taxes. This will be a benefit if it truly does protect our open spaces. We dont want to look like another San Fernando Valley. Where I grew up in Agoura/Westlake Village they did have protected open space.
The property values in that area have shown that it was worth it. The feeling of it still being quaint and suburb like depends on having areas that are undeveloped.

I need open space, because I am getting too fat ! please support open space. I could walk in it, or rest. I think I will rest.
