National Weather Service Recruiting in Santa Clarita
A Weather Spotter Training and Recruitment session will be held by the National Weather Service in the City of Santa Clarita on Monday, September 10th. The training session, which is both free and open to the public, will be held 7pm at City Hall.
After an hour of discussing the latest information on the lack of rainfall and subsequent fire danger, there will be a question and answer session where members of the public can discuss more fascinating issues related to the weather.
The National Weather Service Spotter Program is a great opportunity for weather-buffs to mingle with other weather enthusiasts, and trained weather spotters are always a valuable help to the National Weather Service.
Please contact Curt Kaplan on Kaplan at (805) 988-6615 ext. 461 if you’d like to go.
