Hart’s Mike Caso Joins the LA Galaxy
Former SCV student, Mike Caso, will be joining international soccer superstar David Beckham on the LA Galaxy team.
The Hart High and University of San Diego graduate first enrolled to play AYSO soccer in Santa Clarita when he was 10 years old. Caso went on to play forward on the Hart High school soccer team, followed by midfield and forward for USD’s soccer team.
After graduating, Caso was invited to a conference for soccer players where he impressed attendent talent scouts, leading to his being offered a spot on the LA Galaxy team.
While Caso is only a developmental player, the young athlete is training hard to have the opportunity to move onto the starting roster with Beckham.
Surely, he has played soccer since he was a child as most professional athletes do, so I’m sure this is all very surreal for him.
