LA/Palmdale Airport

Local residents will now have another option when it comes to air travel.

The La/Palmdale airport will see its first United Airlines flight to San Francisco on 6/7/07. The airport is located in the northeast section of Palmdale and is capable of managing up to 300,000 travelers a year through its 9,000 square foot terminal. The hope is that this will alleviate congestion on the highways leading to LAX and Burbank.
