Grand Panda Chinese Restaurant

Best Chinese food in Santa Clarita in my opinion is Grand Panda. Yum! We went to the one located at the corner of Seco and Copperhill. Not only was there no wait on a Friday night, but the food was great.

They have a great special for $14.95 per person that includes won ton soup, a few appetizers and your choice of two entrees. We had the Imperial Shrimp which is shrimp in garlic sauce and Moo Shi Pork.

The service was good, the food was great and we even had leftovers.

Grand Panda has another location on Lyons in Newhall that we have eaten at before, but from my recollection it was usually pretty crowded.

  1. I ate with 6 other people at the Grand Panda Restaurant in Valencia, CA today, July 19, 2008 for lunch. I was not very impressed. The service was average: We had to ask for Plum sauce twice, the tea was not served until after the meal was served. The Chicken Chop Suey had bones in more than one piece of the chicken. All in all, the food was rather bland and the service lacked professionalism.

  2. Grand Panda is easily the best chinese restaurant in the Saugus area. Their portions are large, the service is courteous, and there is seldom a long wait for a table. The must-have dish is Kung Pao Beef, as it is suculent without being too spicy.
