I thought we had another year before we had to stress over PSATs, SATs, PLAN and ACT exams. My eyes are wide open now to what is being offered at Valencia High to prep students for testing. The College Day event at COC helped with that. The three workshops we attended were informative. We learned about the Oct. 25 Preview Day at CSUN that we will be attending (campus and housing tours, workshops). I have since discovered that the Counseling link at the VHS website is jam packed with information on college campus field trips (they fill up fast), test prep opportunities, career evaluation testing, etc. I went to this with our 10th grade daughter.
