There was a brush fire that threatened homes in LaSalle Canyon today, but according to news reports it has been contained. Thank you firefighters!!! I get chills just thinking of the fires from 2007.

The freeway was temporarily closed (5 North) this afternoon, but now all lanes are open.
Reports are coming in on Twitter of residents skimming ash from their pools.
