1500 homes are under evacuation in Leona Valley. One structure was fully engulfed and the fire jumped Lake Elizabeth in a few places. For more on that click here.

I am so relieved that I was able to go back to my house and to see it still standing. The flames were awfully close.
I would like to thank all the great people at the L.A. and Orange County fire departments who helped fight this blase. God bless you for risking your lives and saving my home.
Chris, thank God your home was spared. If you would like to post any pictures or maybe write about what happened, please let me know. With fire season ahead it may be helpful to have an insight to what happened from your side.
At any rate, I am so glad your home was saved and that you are alright.
