The fire seems to be over by Saugus High School, but on the hillside. Copper Hill was closed at Haskell so I am just guessing on the exact location. Last I heard there were no structures damaged and from the looks of the sky it seems they have it under control. Edited 4:45pm…seems it is basically put out. Two neighborhoods were in danger when the fire burned right up to their back yard, but our fire men kick ass!
The helicopters were coming down in Tesoro’s lake to fill up with water. Seeing that happen was insane. The police came and told us all to get out of there, but we were able to get some video.
The streets were really chaotic. It seems as though people forget how to drive when there is something like this is happening. All the rules of the road really went out the window.
