Bella Vida New Homes

Up on the hill above Santa Clarita is one of the newest communities called Bella Vida. Bella Vida is a neighborhood with beautiful Spanish style homes that are available in 5 different floor plans. These homes range from 2,500 sq ft to 3,400 sq ft with 3-4 bedroom models to choose from.

There is an interest list for this new Saugus neighborhood which you can access via the Williams Homes website.

River Village 1

Santa Clarita adds 200 new homes to its real estate market. Lennar is building the homes in this 3 phase community called River Village in the heart of Valencia.

The Heirloom homes will offer 4 or 5 bedrooms, 3 plus baths and 3 bar garages.

The Brookville homes will offer two floor plans both with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.

The Heirlooms are larger with square footage ranging from 3,396-3,512, while Brookville is in the 2,700-3,000 range.

Pricing was not available when I went to see this new development today, but I’ll guess that the homes will start in the low 700s.

The new community of River Village borders the Santa Clarita River. This soon to be charming neighborhood will have the popular paseos and hiking trails for its residents to take advantage of. They also plan on having paved walkways which will connect to 20 miles of scenic river trails that will be perfect for hiking or horse back riding. The view from River Village will be fabulous since the town sits almost in the center of Santa Clarita.

I took some pictures of the lots and the view on a very hazy day.

Bridgeport Homes

In the center of Valencia there is a neighborhood called Bridgeport. Bridgeport has its own elementary school and there is a large shopping center being built across the street called Bridgeport Marketplace.

A small light house is a symbol of this Valencia neighborhood. This ‘Cape Cod’ like community is centrally located and convenient. The only downside is the streets are narrow and parking is limited. The lake surrounding Bridgeport must give its residents a feeling of peace and serenity.

Even though the homes are close together, they are still really beautiful and have a very different feel from any other neighborhood in Santa Clarita.

Agua Dulce | Home to New Real Estate

After a vote Wednesday 3/21/07 by the Regional Planning Commission, B & C Land and Water will move forward with developing over 200 new homes in the quaint and rural community of Agua Dulce.

There will be nothing quaint about these homes. They are slated to be on 2-acre lots and could sell for about a million dollars. Not bad for 2-acres I’d say.

Agua Dulce is a beautiful town with large lots, horses, ranch homes. It’s really surprising to see how sprawling some of the homes are up there.

A couple years ago I bought a dog from an Agua Dulce resident. When I pulled up to the house, I thought I was on the TV show “Dallas”.

Agua Dulce really has a lot to offer. The largest winery in Los Angeles County is based there. Not to mention the Vasquez Rocks State Park. I can’t wait to see what they do with the new homes. I’ll definitely be going up there to check it out.

Newhall | Bella Vista Estates

I had the opportunity to go beyond the gate and see the homes in the Bella Vista Estates in Newhall.

Wow!

It’s similar to a Hollywood Hills neighborhood, but right here in Santa Clarita. The street is very narrow and steep. There isn’t much parking, but the charm and beauty of the neighborhood makes up for that.

These homes range from super elegant to contemporary designs with lush landscaping and breathtaking views of Valencia.

This gated community is a well kept secret. I never even knew it was there.

Translated, ‘Bella Vista’ means ‘beautiful view’.

These homes are located at the end of Everett St off Lyons in Newhall.

Santa Clarita Real Estate

For Sale signs are starting to pop up all over Santa Clarita. It must be a good thing to be a real estate agent in the SCV. With all the real estate companies in Valencia business must still be going strong.

Yesterday I counted six For Sale signs on my street. There are five on the ‘view’ side and one on the ‘non-view’ side. Sellers are still holding strong to their asking price in my neighborhood which is a good thing. I do still think that the market is trending on the buyers side, but the home values seems to be holding steady from what I can tell in Tesoro Del Valle anyway. Since spring is the time of year when real estate transactions start to become more active, it’ll be interesting to see how the property value holds up over the next few months.

West Hills Castillo Phase 3

Prime real estate on the hill at West Hills in Valencia is now open for your viewing pleasure.

There are two models open in this four phase track. You can walk through phase 3 and phase 4 which are done, but not furnished. The sign on the door said you needed an appointment, but I went today (Saturday) and was able to walk right in.

Phase 1 and 2 are still being built on the models cul de sac, but not to fear, they put these things up fast.

The only thing I am questioning right now is some of the color choices that are on the walls on the Phase 4 Castillo model.

Check these pictures out.
