The Santa Clarita Marathon is this coming Sunday 11/4/2007 (BTW-clocks must be set back an hour Saturday night). If you are planning on doing stuff around town, here’s a heads up on street closures.
McBean from Magic Mountain to Valencia Blvd.
Closed from 5:00 AM till 7:15 AM
West bound Valencia Blvd will be detoured to Citrus Ave to Magic Mountain.
Detoured from 6:00 AM till 7:15 AM
Magic Mountain at Tourney
Closed from 7:00 AM till 7:45 AM
Industrial Center: Avenue Scott, Avenue Stanford, Avenue Rockefeller,
Anza Drive and Avenue Hopkins
Delays from 7:00 AM till 8:30 AM
Newhall Ranch Road at Ave. Tibbitts and McBean
Closed from 7:00 AM till 9:30 AM
Copper Hill Drive at McBean
One Eastbound Lane closed from 7:00 AM till 9:30 AM
